a Mano Press is a premier source for invitations and announcements for any occasion. While we show only a few examples on these pages, our forte is working closely with you to design and produce a totally original piece that reflects on your occasion. Several of our presses are ideally suited for this type of work. These presses are fed by hand (from which our name is derived - a Mano - Spanish for "by hand"). This allows for the printer to closely inspect each piece and thereby carefully control quality. We eschew the cookie cutter approach to printing invitations that the large catalogue outfits proffer.

Our office contains a very comprehensive range of type styles from traditional hand set foundry type to a large collection of matrices for machine set composition. We also possess the ability to set the copy digitally and out put it to plates (photo-engravings) for letterpress printing. The combination of the two mediums gives an extremely wide selection of styles.

We have access to some of the worlds finest papers, which can range from hand made, to machine mould made, to the finest in commercial grades.
